Cant lift left leg. Showering is very difficult. For the last few days I have been getting pain in my left thigh when lifting it. I can move my feet and arms a tiny bit and turn my head to the left.
Anything lower than 4 reps and injury risk just shoots up like crazy. Look like Ive been in a POW Camp a few years. Cant raise my leg when laying on side.
Today coming down the stairs I felt a hard buckle. We treat your leg and foot troubles as conservatively as possible by helping your body naturally reboot its normal nerve and muscle function. I experience great pain when standing.
Weakness in the legs can be caused by spinal compression or compression of the nerves that go to the legs less common when both legs are affected since both nerves would need to be compressed. As discussed above the fact that you cant put on socks could mean that severe hip arthritis is on its way. Stand against a wall with your right side facing the wall then put your right foot and cheek against the wall you may need to move your right arm backwards.
Pleasingly these are rare and pretty easy to diagnose once you know what you are thinking about. If you cant do a leg raise without getting either back pain sciatica or a combination of the two your doctor may suspect a herniated disc is responsible. In 18 months i have gone from dragging my left foot to almost total paralysis.
I still have knee buckling issues. Not when i lay on my back i cant lift my left leg at all and when i am standing i can only lift it about 6 to 10 cm of the ground forward. Stiffness in the muscles in the back of the hip.
