Chemo Leg Cramps
Loss of positional sense knowing where a body part is without looking.
Chemo leg cramps. Hi I am having the same thing terrible stomach cramp feels like my stomach is going to drop out of my body also very very nauseous Am due to have another dose on Tuesday but I have been sick since having my chemo last Tuesday. I truly hope that this helps. Had a painful one two weekends ago in my left leg the sciatica side and it hurt for about a week.
Pain may be mild and intermittent or persistent and severe. I got them straight after chemo last time and could hardly stand - my legs were very weak and I had calf cramps. Leg Cramps These are often created by lack of hydration that is a common problem during chemo.
Our doctor has prescribed her magnespasmyl forte and that is absolutely working. Perhaps the chemo is depleting those electrolytes an unintended consequence. Since I started the CMF chemo in April I am having leg cramps a lot more often.
These along with proper hydration hopefully will give you some relief. It only lasted 5 minutes and then I had a couple more incidences of leg cramps but nothing serious. My feet feel like they will explode sometimes pins and needles cramps etc.
Chemo and muscle cramps Ive been having severe muscle cramps while trying to sleep. I am glad this is just chemo. I take it every other day during my cycle of maintenance chemo which lasts 15 days.
I also discovered that Neulasta a man-made form of a protein that stimulates the growth of white blood cells in your body after chemo is also linked to muscle cramping. Radiation therapy to the lower extremities hips legs etc. The most common symptom of potassium deficiency is muscle cramping.
