Can Iud Cause Leg Pain
A pain specialist finally told us I think she needs to have her IUDMIRENA taken out.
Can iud cause leg pain. Ive wanted this iud out but since I got put through menopause given hormonal replacementand got a dvt blood clot in my leg I kind of had no choice since my doc wouldnt put me back on continuous birth control which helped best managing pain. Its in my thigh although it comes all the way down to my knee sometimes and all the way up past my hip and in towards my uterus. Copper and estrogen share a very intimate relationship with one another because estrogen increases copper retention in the body.
This has been going on for months on and off. Even after the removal I still have leg pain in my upper thighs and cramps in my pelvic area everyday. Leg pain musculoskeletal pain and tendonitis are listed side effects of Mirena.
Ever since I got the IUD Mirena put in January 15th over 2 weeks ago Ive had pains in my right leg. This stretch instantaneously unwinds your hips upper legs and glutes and functions as a general relaxation for the whole body. Occasionally in the beginning for few days it may cause a little discomfort and it becomes normal.
IUD will cause pain. Some of those include longer periods nausea bloating the Mirena falling out and more. Hormonal imbalances often lead to dysfunction of the posterior chain namely the glutes and can create everything from low back pain to knee pain.
I contracted an infection while I had the iud in and due to the pain I asked the doctor to remove it. I also sometimes have pain go into my right leg and in general feel achy all over. Even those with a narrow cervix may develop painful periods.
I have fluid on my hip causing alot of pain. Pain mainly left side where they did a scan and said womb a little tilted fallian tube twisted and ovary tucked in wrong side. I would ask for an ultrasound exam of the blood flow in that leg to rule out a blood clot even if removing the IUD relieves the pain.
