Bbq leg of lamb internal temperature. An internal temperature of 6065C. 30 min per 500g. 135 140 F.
We are going to monitor the internal meat temperature and the temperature inside the grill using a dual sensor Polder digital thermometer. You will want to maintain a temperature of 300-350F. Although if you are using boneless lamb it might take a bit longer to cook.
Grill covered for approximately 1 hour rotating and basting every 15 minutes or so. Place the lamb in your smoker. I usually aim for 225F for a long cook lamb shoulder say 10-11hrs and if wanting faster then 250-270 for a 6-7hr.
4 5 hours. 250 300 F. HOT TIP If you choose to smoke a boneless leg of lamb unlike most meats it will take longer to cook than a bone-in leg.
Crown roast unstuffed cook at 375F 2-3 lbs. 5 6 hours. Place lamb fat-side up in the middle of the grill over the indirect heat.
3 4 hours. Butterflied lamb tends to be fairly flat and cooks quickly and evenly. Assuming meat at near room temp when going in and always cook by meat internal temp for slow lamb say 185-195F is good.
