Baby Gets Legs Stuck In Crib Bars
Baby stuck between crib slats.
Baby gets legs stuck in crib bars. In the past its been just one. A few times it takes two of us and some lotion to get her leg free. According to ChildrensMD babies who are 7 to 9 months old are particularly prone to getting legs or feet stuck in the slats of the crib.
Not trying to worry you as I know this is probably a one in a million freak accident but it happened. She also sometimes hits her head on the sides and cries. Or hed get himself widthways and wedge his head.
When she wakes she wriggles around and tries to sit up and as babies obviously have no fear of hurting themselves I am worried. In the meantime have you considered really greasing up the bars so that when he sticks a leg in there it slides out easier. Slather on some crisco or something.
She has long skinny legs that seem to get really stuck. It came well packaged and is well made. After some reading and research we decided to get these breathable mesh ones with the safari print.
The scream was horrific and something I never want to hear again. Its perfect as he is such a wriggly worm. And as your child grows move the mattress down so the bars stay too high to climb over.
We had a similar situation occur with our daughter and there is a mesh bumper that can resolve that issue. Babys arms legs get stuck in crib railings. She also sticks her legs through the bars and they almost get stuck.
